***Sindicalistas del mundo expresan solidaridad con Cuba

del Transporte (ITF) expresaron hoy en esta ciudad, su solidaridad con
Cuba y calificaron
las festividades del Primero de Mayo como ícono para obreros de la
región latinoamericana.
Antonio Fritz, Secretario Regional de ITF para América, dijo en exclusiva a la AIN que constituye orgullo compartir con los trabajadores de la Isla estos días previos a la efeméride y en el magno desfile, por la multitudinaria participación y el entusiasmo de los sindicatos.
Una delegación de la federación sindical más grande que existe a nivel mundial, pues agrupa a unos cinco millones de afiliados, se encuentra de visita en Cuba e intercambia experiencias con homólogos del Sindicato Nacional de Trabajadores del Transporte.
Mientras que en otras naciones los trabajadores acuden al Primero de Mayo a reclamar derechos como empleo y salarios, en Cuba la mayoría asiste para reafirmar su compromiso social y en defensa de la soberanía de la Patria, eso es muy importante, acotó Antonio.
En el aeropuerto internacional Juan Gualberto Gómez, líderes obreros de México, Brasil, Argentina, Venezuela, Panamá y España recibieron una explicación de la labor del sindicato en la entidad, en cuanto al movimiento de innovadores, aporte de divisas a la salud pública y otros.
Fritz explicó que el gremio que representa para el continente americano agrupa a marinos, portuarios, ferroviarios, transporte de carretera, turismo y aviación civil, por ello el interés de intercambiar experiencias con los trabajadores de la terminal aérea.
El dirigente comentó que dan continuidad a estos encuentros que datan del año 2011, y entre los principales propósitos de la visita se encuentran estrechar los lazos de amistad y demostrar la solidaridad con la nación caribeña.
Juan José Polo Vázquez, Secretario General del Sindicato Nacional de Trabajadores del Transporte, expresó que cada vez crece el respaldo a Cuba y una muestra lo constituye esta delegación de ITF que desfilará junto al pueblo el próximo jueves, que desde ya es histórico, concluyó.

Международная федерация транспортников (МФТ) запустила новый проект в Момбасе (Кения) за достойные условия труда в стране. Его главная цель – добиться уважения к труду докеров и водителей и профсоюзным объединениям.
Акцию МФТ поддержали ее две членские организации – Кенийские профсоюз докеров (DUK) и водителей грузовиков и смежных отраслей (KLDTDAWU). В задачи организаций войдут совместная реализация проекта МФТ путем обеспечения надлежащих условий труда, поддержки женщин-транспортниц и рабочих, живущих с ВИЧ/СПИДом.
